"JOE", the grand old man of Harbortop, now deceased. A joy since the day
he arrived from England at seven months.
In 1992, on the way to his American championship title, I showed
him at six specialties. He won the Open Chocolate class at all but
one, where he went second to his son. He was Reserve Winners Dog
at the Albuquerque Specialty and at the Canadian National Specialty.
His children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are now in the ring and in the field and I hope they will succeed in every field as well as he did. Everything I ever asked of him, he did with wagging tail. |
